Rolling Stone Magazine (along with corporate sponsor Volkswagen) is giving one lucky Hoosier band the opportunity to open for Jane's Addiction and The Roots at this year's Super Bowl in Indianapolis. Local bands like Tim Brickley and the Bleeding Hearts are activating their Facebook and Twitter fan bases to vote for the privilege of performing in front of the global audience. Vote early, vote often -- fans are being asked to vote once a day for their favorite group, with stiff competition fueled by a frenzy of social media activity the order of the day.
