Daphane Park Asks: Do You Do VooDoo?

Carmel artist (now living and working in New York City) Daphane Park writes to tell us about her latest project:

hello all

if anyone happens to be in New Orleans...
I have a couple of pieces installed in City Park.
'hammock mother' an enormous hammock for 20 - 30 people to rest in at once, that I just made in the upper amazon with the Zapara.
and 'Super Conductor' a silk tent that functions as an orgone accumulator. I will be doing a performance inside of the tent
during the Voodoo Fest. This piece travels to Austin's Creative Research Laboratory mid Nov.
